How to Request Data Deletion

If you would like to request the deletion of your data collected through Social Gateways, please follow the steps below.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Send a deletion request email

    Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: "Social Gateways Data Deletion Request".

  2. Include your identifying information

    In your email, include the following so we can locate your data:

    • The social media platform(s) you used to interact with Yert (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
    • Your username or profile name on those platforms
    • Approximate dates of your interactions (if known)
  3. Verification

    We may ask you to verify your identity to ensure we are deleting the correct data. This may involve confirming your request from the social media account in question.

  4. Confirmation

    Once your identity is verified and the deletion is complete, we will send you a confirmation email.

What Data Gets Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete:

  • Messages and content you sent to Yert's social media accounts
  • Your social media profile information stored by Social Gateways
  • Interaction history and metadata associated with your social media account
  • Any data derived from your interactions that is shared across Yert products

Please note that we may retain certain data if required by law or for legitimate legal purposes (e.g., compliance with legal obligations, resolving disputes).

Timeline

We aim to process data deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a verified request. If additional time is needed, we will notify you of the delay and the reason.
