This Travel Refund Policy applies to travel-related bookings and tickets purchased through Yert, LLC ("Yert", "we", "us", or "our"), including bus, flight, and other transport tickets (collectively, "Tickets"). It explains how refunds work for travel purchases and the role of the parties involved.
This policy is specific to travel Services and takes precedence over our general Refund Policy for matters it covers. For anything not addressed here, the general Refund Policy applies.
For travel bookings, Yert generally acts as an intermediary that enables you to search for and purchase Tickets. The actual transport service, and in many cases the sale of the Ticket, is provided by a third party. We use the following terms in this policy:
Because the Carrier and any Third-Party Partner control the terms of the travel service, refunds for Tickets are ultimately subject to their rules and to their ability and willingness to process a refund.
Refund rules can differ from one Ticket to another. Each Ticket, fare type, or booking may have its own refund policy and conditions set by the relevant Carrier or Third-Party Partner — including whether the Ticket is refundable at all, applicable deadlines, cancellation fees, and the refundable amount.
You should always review the specific refund policy and rules of a Ticket before purchasing, as these must be taken into consideration and will govern your refund. Some Tickets are non-refundable, while others may allow refunds only within a certain time window or subject to a fee.

The final refundable amount is determined by the Carrier's and/or Third-Party Partner's rules for the specific Ticket.
If a journey is cancelled or significantly changed by the Carrier or Third-Party Partner, your rights to a refund or alternative arrangement are governed by that Carrier's or Partner's policy and by applicable law. We will assist where we can in passing your request to the relevant party.
To request a refund for a Ticket, please contact us at [email protected] and include your booking reference, the email or account used for the purchase, the travel date, and the reason for your request. We will forward eligible requests to the relevant Carrier or Third-Party Partner where required.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Where the original payment system does not support a refund, a refund may instead be made by bank transfer to an account you provide, in accordance with our general Refund Policy, including the requirement to provide valid bank details within 5 (five) days of our request.
We may update this Travel Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
