Yerevan public transport fares: tickets, passes and discounts
Yerevan has one fare system for every city bus, trolleybus and the metro. A single ride costs 150 AMD, a 180-minute ticket 300 AMD and 10 trips 1,500 AMD. Passes cost from 900 AMD for one day to 90,000 AMD for a year, and the Zvartnots Airport ticket is 500 AMD. Children aged 0–8 ride free. Tickets are sold on transport.yerevan.am, at TelCell terminals and offices, and in TelCell Wallet. The fares are set by Yerevan City Council decision N 243-Ն of 19.11.2024.
Valid on all city buses, trolleybuses and the metro in Yerevan. Intercity buses are not covered: see intercity bus routes on Yert Travel.

The ticket is activated after acquisition when tapped on the validator or automatically on the activation deadline day.
Which ticket should I buy?
- One ride: "1 trip", 150 AMD. If you change vehicles, "180 minutes" (300 AMD) covers 3 trips with 2 transfers.
- Riding now and then: "10 Trips", 1,500 AMD, valid for 45 days from activation.
- Riding every day: a 30-day pass (9,000 AMD) costs the same as 60 single rides.
- Visiting: "1 day" (900 AMD) or "7 days" (5,000 AMD). From the airport, the Zvartnots Airport ticket (500 AMD).

- When a rider qualifies for several discounts, the largest applies.
- The city checks eligibility online. A rider who qualifies but isn't recognised can apply on transport.yerevan.am.
Where to buy tickets
- transport.yerevan.am: an electronic ticket linked to a transport card or a bank card.
- TelCell terminals and TelCell offices: the same linked electronic ticket.
- TelCell Wallet: an electronic QR ticket.
- Yerevan Metro cash registers: listed for the "30 days" ticket and for one "1 trip" ticket.
- A bank card on board: listed for the Zvartnots Airport ticket.
How tickets work
- Each ticket has an activation window, counted from purchase, and a validity period, counted from activation.
- The ticket is activated after acquisition when tapped on the validator or automatically on the activation deadline day.
- Unlimited passes can't be tapped again on the same vehicle within 30 minutes.
- An electronic ticket is linked to a transport card or a bank card, which you tap on the validator.
Airport bus fare
The Zvartnots Airport ticket costs 500 AMD (480 AMD in TelCell Wallet) and is valid for a single trip to or from Zvartnots Airport and Yerevan city center. The airport route is bus 100.
What these tickets don't cover
